Make sure the “Block All” feature is turned on. Blocking only works when “Block All” is enabled.
If “Block All” is off: All apps remain accessible with no restrictions.
If “Block All” is on: Use the slider to select the allowed age level for apps.
Age level options
Lock icon — blocks all apps except system and pre-installed ones (e.g., phone, messages, settings).
4+ — only apps rated 4+ or lower are allowed.
9+ — apps rated up to 9+ are allowed.
12+ — apps rated up to 12+ are allowed.
17+ — all apps rated up to 17+ are allowed; only apps rated above 17+ will be blocked (if any).
What happens when blocking is active:
IOS: blocked apps disappear from the home screen and app list on your child’s device.
Access to the App Store is restricted — your child won’t be able to download apps with a rating above the selected level.
Android: Blocked apps may still appear on the home screen, but they won’t open and will remain inaccessible.
On Google Play, any app can still be downloaded, but those that exceed the selected age level will be automatically blocked and won’t be accessible on the device.
System and pre-installed apps (like phone, messages, etc.) always remain available.
